21 TUDOR STREET

Description

Mecserve designed the fitting out for 9,060m2 of office space at 21 Tudor Street for a leading firm of solicitors. The accommodation included open and cellular offices, meeting rooms, catering and IT support facilities. A special feature of the 'fit out' included the installation of a glazed pavilion in the central courtyard where informal meetings and social events are held.

SLOANE TELEPHONE EXCHANGE

Description

A Grade II building converted into an office development was completed to a limited shell and core base build by the landlord. Mecserve was involved with the tenant at an early stage and were able to advise on strip-out and prevent some works being completed, to enable the tenant to fit out the space to their operational needs. The internal fit out was completed to a high specification and included two 'IT comms' rooms. The challenge was to provide the servicing without external plant space and with strict external noise criteria as it is a residential area.

CHAPTER HOUSE

Description

A disused church on the English Heritage 'Buildings at Risk' register was converted into an open plan office space complete with meeting rooms and a staff kitchen in the crypt. The building had an existing public museum in the attic space which included an original operating theatre from the St Thomas Hospital. The museum needed to be accommodated into the design and power change-over, etc. coordinated.

Mecserve was appointed to provide a full design on the M&E services and were involved from the asset inspection to completion and occupation of the building.
