Signature Senior Lifestyle – Ascot Grange, Sunninghill

Mecserve provided the design of the Building Services, Lifts and Sustainability for the new Signature senior care home at Sunninghill across more than 65,500 ft² of accommodation. 

Following completion of the detailed design, Mecserve were novated to Wates construction, and our Value Engineering skills were required to bring the project within budget. The proximity of other properties bordering the site also posed some challenges during construction.

Energy efficient measures included CHP and VRV air source heat pumps, and the scheme is targeting a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating. There is underfloor heating throughout.

This was our first project for this client and our challenge was to understand their expectations and the design principles.

We developed good working relationship with the client and the rest of the design team.

We brought value by utilising our experience of working in this sector and experience working with the design team on other projects.
