Prior to entering the consulting side of the industry, Tom started his career working client-side as a maintenance technician. He has used the practical knowledge he gained as a foundation for his consultancy design role. Tom has a broad range of consulting experience across numerous sectors including hotels, commercial offices, airports, sports centres, educational buildings and residential buildings. He has worked on many projects from conception through to completion and has been involved in several plant replacement strategies within high-specification ‘live’ buildings.

Tom enjoys music, motorcycling, home improvement and spending time with his family.

He considers his greatest achievement to be riding the Nürburgring in Germany on an R6 motorbike. It was an experience he will never forget and would love to do it again! He would like to learn another language but without relocating abroad he is doubtful that he will ever achieve this. He would also like to relearn the piano, which he may be able to do when one of his children takes lessons at school.

Danny joined Mecserve as an Associate Director working as a Project Manager and Electrical Engineer. He has extensive experience, particularly with small, medium and large commercial and residential developments, as well as managing large teams of engineers. He is a great team player who shares his skills both within our own business, but also through mentoring with the IET.

When he was two years old Danny fell off a three-storey building. Not only did he survive, he didn't break a single bone! As an adult, he considers his greatest achievement to be surviving the Munich beer festival with Peter Kirk and a [tactfully] unnamed client. More wholesomely, he mentors for the IET.
