7 Cleveland Row and Russell Court, St James's

The development consisted of the conversion of 7 Cleveland Row from office to residential use, creating one-bed, three-bed and four-bedroom units.  The adjacent Russell Court Mews was also redeveloped to create three unique townhouses and a further apartment. The redevelopment included eight garages for the residents.

A communal building services strategy fits with the concierge managed approach to this exceptionally high-quality scheme located opposite St James’s Palace and Green Park.

A CHP-led heating system connects to heat interface units within each dwelling.  Communal dry-air coolers serve a low-noise heat-rejection system to provide comfort cooling to all the units.  Integrated controls and metering allow the development to provide the highest levels of comfort but with exceptionally high energy efficiency.

In keeping with The Crown Estate’s sustainability principles careful consideration has been given to water efficiency and urban greening.

Achieving BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment ‘Excellent’ and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 ratings demonstrates that ultra-prime residential developments can still be environmentally responsible.
