8 St James’s Square – Landlord’s Advisor

Mecserve was appointed to provide building services design in a client monitoring role for the fit-out of this nine-storey, newly-built office building in central London.

Following on from our work designing the base buidling services systems, we were appointed to oversee the tenants' floor fit-outs in a client monitoring role.

A particular challenge of this project was the coordination of multi-tenanted services, particularly in risers and at roof level and integrating the first-floor tenant’s standby generator.

We therefore established close working relationships with tenants' designers to coordinate their services.

We had intricate knowledge of the building services having designed the base systems, and this enabling us to ensure full integration.
