Mecserve was appointed to provide fully coordinated design of air conditioning, lighting, and main plant rooms.
The office development (for Castlemore Securities) comprised of approximately 45,000 ft² net office space arranged over four floors with both external and underground car parking facilities for 120 cars.
The building was fully air conditioned with ceiling mounted fan-coil units serving a mixture of modular and perimeter linear diffusers controlled via a central plant BEMS network.
Lighting was by fully recessed modular luminaires with fluorescent lamps and low brightness louvres complying with CIBSE Lighting Guide 3, Category 2.
All office lighting was operated by a lighting control system to permit increased flexibility and ease-of-use by the tenants.
Main plant rooms were located at basement car park level and on the roof.
