Plot 1110 Gloucester Business Park

Mecserve was brought in to assist with a new office building across 62,400 ft² for Fortis Insurance Group’s headquarters in the Midlands.

The offices included a restaurant, central computer communications hub, call centre, training room facilities and management centre.

The works included extensive services infrastructure, remote external plant rooms and car parking facilities.

The offices were fully air conditioned with ceiling mounted fan-coils serving a mixture of modular and perimeter diffusers. Lighting was by fully recessed modular low brightness luminaires, controlled via a modular switching system.

All services were controlled via a central BEMS network.

Mecserve was appointed as the client’s building services design consultant for both the shell and core works and the tenant’s Cat B for the services installation.
