Ham Yard, Soho

Summary:

Design of the mechanical and electrical services including air-conditioning for this prestigious 150,000 sq.ft mixed-use development in the heart of London's Soho.


The project covered a 90 key hotel, 24 apartments, 13 independent stores and a restaurant and bar with outdoor dining also including restaurants, kitchens, bars, spa and gym, a 1950s-style bowling alley and a home cinema for the guests on the ground and lower ground floors.

  

Result: 

A sympathetic redeveloped a long-neglected site in the southwest corner of Soho. Moments from Mayfair, the project has an urban village feel with the hotel revolving around a tree-filled garden. 

Ham Yard has an Excellent Energy Performance Rating, exceeding the standards of the time by more than 40%.
