24 King William Street, City of London

Mecserve was appointed to carry out the design of the mechanical and electrical services for this prestigious 80,730 ft² mixed-use development in the heart of the City of London.

Comprising office accommodation over nine floors and four retail units at ground floor, the building was stripped back to its structural frame and two additional floors added. The building incorporated a new thermally efficient façade with new glazing and air conditioning. Additionally, the building will also be completely re-serviced to provide VRV systems throughout, linked to a central heating system and air source heat pumps at roof level. The scheme has been designed to meet the requirements of BCO 2009.

Our sustainability appointment included BREEAM assessment with the project targeting a 'Very Good' rating (under BREEAM offices 2011).

On completion of the design we were appointed to Volker Fitzpatrick to provide design and support services during construction.
