An extension and major refurbishment to an existing building in Islington, London, creating Cat A commercial office space with exposed building services across 20,000 ft².
Mecserve provided a detailed design role on behalf of the building services contractor (Sapphire), providing fully coordinated working drawings.
Mecserve also developed the design originally received from GDM Partnership through to RIBA stage 5. A site-based role was not required during the refurbishment works.
Great attention to detail was afforded to the design of the exposed services ensuring symmetry and clean lines, while still providing future tenant flexibility.
