The brief was for the complete refurbishment of existing office accommodation into six high quality apartments.
Each apartment was totally self-contained where possible (in terms of the building services), with only the landlord’s potable cold water booster system being used to provide high water pressure.
The services comprised a gas fired boiler complete with under-floor heating, boosted domestic hot and cold water services, comfort cooling to principle rooms via a VRF heat pumps, gas fired flame effect fires, integrated lighting, fire alarm and security systems, CCTV with entry/access control, feature lighting and BT/internet broadband services.
Major heat rejection plant was located at roof level, enclosed within an acoustic screen to ensure planning noise restrictions are maintained.
