This fit out project, within The Crown Estate’s 7 Air Street development, was developed to showcase the Regent Street area to potential tenants and occupiers as well as operating as a function space for corporate events.
Mecserve worked with the architect, a specialist lighting supplier, and a model maker to deliver on a vision demonstrating how thoughtful fit-out can create great space even within the constraints of a refurbishment.
Bespoke light fittings were developed by the lighting supplier to provide a copper finish. Plumber’s standard copper pipework was lacquered off-site to match the finish on the light fittings. An innovative approach to lighting control installation allowed the flexibility to programme and select scenes to suit the different operational modes of the space.
Base-build mechanical installations were adapted to provide appropriate heating and cooling and a small kitchen area was developed to allow provision of teas and coffees in the day or canapes and bar function for evening events.
Mecserve worked with the appointed AV specialist to provide a high-level of flexibility and connectivity to allow the installation of an interactive model of the west End and a fully functional display wall.
