The offices and warehouse were fitted out as the main UK distribution centre for T-K-Maxx.
The distribution centre at Milton Keynes comprised 100,000 ft² warehouse and 8,000 ft² office accommodation with external car parking.
The warehouse was heated with a direct gas-fired heating system with outlets distributing warm air between the high-bay racking.
The warehouse was also provided with side wall fans, roof mounted fans for summer ventilation and was fully protected throughout with a sprinkler system.
The lighting system to the warehouse was low energy high-bay lighting controlled by time switches and movement detectors.
