Vicarage Gate House, Kensington

This newly-built development of luxury apartments is located in one of the most prestigious addresses in the capital, positioned between High Street Kensington, fashionable Notting Hill and adjacent to the mansions of Kensington Palace Gardens.

Each meticulously designed apartment benefits from its own south-facing outdoor space, allocated underground parking, a highly- trained concierge team and access to a private on-site gym.

Built to exceptionally high standards by renowned London developer Northacre, Meceserve were appointed to carry out the mechanical and electrical services design including the sustainability design. Vicarage Gate House has been designed as a thoughtful response to the challenge of placing a new building in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Mecserve worked closely with Eric Parry Architects and the design team to deliever this high-profile scheme. The coordination and integration of the services into the architectural space required careful planning and consideration, by keeping service zone depths to a minimum it allowed ceiling heights to be increased. A key project directive was to ensure that services met all the high specification requirements expected from that of a super prime development but without making them overly complex for the occupants.
